When God's Spirit comes into our life, He blesses us with new gifts and abilities. For some it's the gift of serving, teaching, giving, biblical insight...the list goes on. What do you think your spiritual gifts are?
Heart: What burdens your heart most? *
Heart refers to what you care about the most. Maybe it's a cause or purpose that you have a deep desire to others helped with. It could even be helping others in a situation that you were once in like addiction or poverty or depression. For others, maybe it's just loving people or helping them grow spiritually. What burdens your heart most?
Abilities: What natural abilities do you have? *
We all have natural talents or things that we are just good at doing. If we give it some thought, we can use any of those abilities to serve God and serve others. Maybe you're good at working on cars or maybe you have a talent for baking. What are some of your abilities?
Personality: How do you best like to serve others? *
Each person is wired differently. There are some who are quiet and reserved and prefer to work behind the scenes. Some enjoy leading and taking on the responsibility of moving people in the right direction. All personalities are important and needed for a proper balance. How do you best like to serve others?
Experiences: What experiences have taught you how to better serve? *
We all have experiences in our lives that have helped teach us important lessons. Some of those lessons come from failures and some come from successes. It's important that we consider the experiences of our past and see how they impact our future service. What experiences have taught you how to better serve?
